The Journey to Real Estate

Every move marks the beginning of a new chapter. Whether you're buying your first home, searching for more space, simplifying your life, or making a necessary transition, I'm honored to help guide you every step of the way.

I have been through many chapters in my life, growing up and starting a family in Greene County, NY. I loved growing up in New Baltimore, along the shores of the Hudson River. I graduated from Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School, HVCC, and the College of St. Rose with environmental degrees. I worked for the NYS Department of Health and NYS Environmental Facilities Corporation. I then began a career with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and moved my family to northern Virginia. Writing has always been a passion of mine and I not only used it to help communicate and educate during my careers, but continue to learn and grow in that arena and as a member of the American Writers and Artists Institute. I have been writing and also teaching and supporting conservation professionals working with the Partnership and Community Collaboration Academy. I moved to Hilton, NY in 2025 and am continuing my life's adventure by adding licensed real estate salesperson to my professional profile.

I have always enjoyed looking at different properties and combining that with the potential to be able to help others in a meaningful way in either buying or selling makes real estate a perfect fit for my next chapter. And in addition to helping people with the nuts and bolts of buying and/or selling, I can also help my neighbors by informing them on real estate, and my community by advocating for positive change that can improve conditions for having more housing and financing options.

I enjoy hearing people's stories, sharing my insights on the real estate market, and supporting everyone's journey, whether you are my client or not. I encourage you to reach out if you have topics I could address in a future post or resource.

Why Keller Williams?

When I was living in Virginia and searching for a home in the Rochester, NY greater area, I was fortunate enough to have landed on a wonderful KW agent, so when I decided to take this journey, I started there. KW offered me support throughout my training and continues to support and train me. I am an independent agent, and I have a team of engaged, knowledgeable, and experienced professionals always available to share and care.

Keller Williams is a nationwide agency, so I also can help you with referrals in other parts of the country as well.

Hobbies

I have a lot of hobbies and interests. The short list includes time with family and friends, reading and joining literary friends for several local book clubs, kayaking with Daisy (see above), walking/hiking, gardening, DIY projects, crafts, and I'm hoping to get back into beekeeping next year.
